When Bill Parcells was hired as Cowboys coach in 2003, the organization was looking to turnaround a bad stretch on the field and help off it with an upcoming vote for a new stadium.

Parcells helped turn around the football part and the stadium vote was passed in Arlington, obviously. But the former coach has not been to Cowboys Stadium.

Now in his third year as Miami's executive director of football operations, Parcells will have his first chance to visit on Sept. 2 when the Dolphins close out the Cowboys' preseason in Arlington.

"I'd like to see him, sure, but you're right he doesn't like to travel," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said. "But it would be good. And I thought he was going to come to the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, but we didn't get Mayweather so he didn't come. He said he'd be there for that."

I would love to see the big Tuna back in Dallas.

Just his presence would pump me up to play.
