Gerald Sensabaugh is predicting a Sept. 12 return from his left shoulder injury.
He just Tweeted (@Gsensabaugh), "I should be ready by Washington. Rehab going great ..."
Sensabaugh's shoulder popped out of place in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason game against San Diego. X-rays at the stadium were negative and an MRI on Sunday did not reveal any more damage. The Cowboys are putting Sensabaugh's return in the 3-4 week range, which means he's 50-50 to play against the Redskins.
Sensabaugh missed only one game last year with a broken thumb and played with a cast on his hand for the rest of the season.
