The Dallas Cowboys devoted Thursday's two-hour session to a review of assignments and also a chance for players to get their legs back after two practices on Wednesday. There was no contact as players went through all drills without helmets and pads.
Offensive-line coach Hudson Houck keep his group after school for an additional 20-minute tutorial on blocking blitzes. The Cowboys expect San Diego to show some of its regular-season blitz defenses during Saturday's exhibition game. Under coach Wade Phillips, the Cowboys wait until the regular season to use their blitzes.
