Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Saturday that he's now hoping to have Dez Bryant (ankle) back for the final two exhibition games, August 28 and September 2.

"He’s doing well, and we expected him to do well," Jones said. "We had expectations, and I am hopeful we will have him back for those last two preseason games." Bryant was already on the field working with trainers Saturday afternoon, and his recovery appears to be ahead of schedule.

F'ing dumb. Why chance it? It's not like we're hurting at the position. Dez coming back isn't going to fix the offensive line. That's what Jerry should be focused on, not rushing his new toy back too soon.

Yeah, I'm nervous that Jerry is rushing him back.

Bryant's gonna want to play ASAP. Him telling you he's good to go shouldn't matter.

He shouldn't go by what he thinks, he should go by what the doctors say.

And I don't mean Dr. Jones.
