Georgia CB Brandon Boykin suffered a broken leg which will likely require surgery.

Damn. I would've loved him in the second.

Anyone know the severity of the injury?

So much for that pick. It looks like Minnefield, Gilmore.

Maybe Hayward in the fourth.

Brandon Boykin Injures Leg In Senior Bowl, Says He'll Recover In Three Weeks

Jan 28 8:50p by Jeremy Mauss

During the 2012 Senior Bowl, Georgia Bulldog cornerback and return man Brandon Boykin left the game with a broken leg, but the severity of the injury has varied. Initial reports were that Boykin is requiring immediate surgery, but Boykin took to twitter to announce the injury is not as serious as initially thought:

This is a pretty big setback for Boykin's preparation for the NFL Draft even if he is going to be out for only three weeks. Boykin was one of the players invited to the 2012 NFL Combine but that takes place on Feb. 22 which is three and a half weeks away, so even if Boykin does recover in three weeks it seems that it will be a long shot that he will be able to take part in the combine.

During the week of practices at the Senior Bowl, Boykin was named one of the top-10 players at the Senior Bowl and immensely improved his draft status in the week leading up to the game.

I'm glad it's not as bad, I like his attitude! God bless him.
