EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Cowboys didn't seem ready to play from a mental standpoint on Sunday night against the Giants.

The Cowboys were down 21-0 before mounting a comeback at Met Life Stadium that ended in the fourth quarter.

"I mean they obviously were charged up," wide receiver Miles Austin said of the Giants' energy. "But regardless of how charged up it is, it's our job to go our and execute and we didn't do that."

Numerous times during the game, players were yelling either at each other, the referees or just in the air. Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware took his helmet off after a play and was screaming. He got to the sidelines and was approached by backup linebacker Victor Butler, who was pushed back slightly by Ware.

Ware sat on the Cowboys bench and was given encouragement by defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and other players. After a long completion late in the game, cornerback Orlando Scandrick was yelling at no one. Nose tackle Jay Ratliff also yelled after a few bad plays.

The frustration level was high and the emotion the Cowboys showed only came after they started to get behind.

Saturday night coach Jason Garrett gave an emotional speech that cornerback Terence Newman said was the best he's heard in football.

"Yeah, it's frustrating and it's not a good feeling," Austin said.

calvin watkins is such a ******.

demarcus ware was yelling with his helmet off because diehl three times in the first half grabbed him by the face mask and yanked him down and there was no flag on any of the plays.

the third one he was thrown down and his helmet was sideways he got up and took it off yelling at walt anderson and was pissed.

watkins is a fucking moron.

Diehl bagged him last nite, Ware was ineffective the last 4 wks of the season, and Ratliff was embarrassing. Spears & James are clowns - Newman , Shitabaugh are stiffs, Scandrick is overmatched, Spencer is a flop.
You see the trend compadre....

Scandrick yelling at noone and at the same time trying to blame someone else when he was on the coverage was ridiculous.

This secondary is a complete mess. I'd keep Jenkins that's it. Blow it up.

We just paid him big coin brah

Naw, the one thing the homers got right was that his salary is quite small. Well, he's still being overpaid because he shouldn't be starting, but it's not a contract that will hamstring other negotiations.

And what's that tell ya about your GM?

Resigning Sensabaugh?

Very confusing move. Not only does he suck outloud but there was no need to sign him mid-season. Who did we think we were going to lose him to? He had zero bites in free agency and he wasn't playing lights out. He was playing less crappy than Elam.

These are the kind of moves that blow my mind, but some say he's a good GM. Laughable.

You never extend players mid-season unless they are integral to your team. Like a Romo, or Ware, or a Greg Ellis.
