The Dallas Cowboys will retain quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson, according to a source.

Wilson, the Cowboys' quarterbacks coach since 2007, was in the final year of his contract but will receive a new deal. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Cowboys had four coaches with expiring contracts heading into the offseason and decided late last week not to extend a new contract to wide receivers coach Ray Sherman. Alabama tight ends coach/special teams coordinator Bobby Williams visited Valley Ranch on Tuesday and could be a possible replacement.

Williams was the running backs coach in Miami for the 2005 and 2006 seasons when Jason Garrett was the quarterbacks coach under Nick Saban.

Tight ends coach John Garrett, who was also in the last year of his contract with the Cowboys, visited with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday to interview for the vacant offensive coordinator position.

Kicking consultant Chris Boniol also has an expiring contract with the Cowboys. He was hired last summer to help David Buehler during training camp and remained during the regular season.

I thought Williams just visited Valley Ranch because he and Jason are close friends?

That's what Fraley reported, people need to get their shit straight. Is Fraley full of shit or is Calvin Watkins?
