Stephen Jones, the Cowboys executive vice president, declared that Miles Austin was "not a one-year wonder'' when the club signed him to a six-year, $54 million extension earlier this season.

He may not be. But the jury is still out.

The Cowboys lead receiver has suffered through a frustrating evening. He fell on the out route that led to the Cardinals first pick six. He dropped three passes, including one in the end zone.

"I can mess up really bad,'' Austin said. "I get down on myself. I do sometimes. Really hard."

"But you have to shake it off.''

Austin did shake it off for a 37-yard touchdown in the final two minutes. He finished with 6 catches for 115 yards. But what about all of those mistakes?

"I didn't make all the plays I wanted,'' Austin said. "But we have a long year.

"We've got one game left.''

Yep, one more game of hell.

Then, as angry as we all are at this shitty team. We will be foaming at the mouth come March WISHING the new season would start.

It that isn't confirmed insanity, I don't know what is. lol

I think it has just been a completely off year for Austin. Like for the rest of this team, it's what it is. I dont' think Austin is a 1 year wonder. He just needs to get back to work and put this season behind him after this last game.

Start fresh in the offseason.
