Seems like the Cowboys aren't the only team in the East with 'asshats' on their roster.

Supposedly he and the supplement company are trying to fight the suspension together.

Just saw where his agent released a statement saying that he isn't suspended. A reporter texted Lane about it and his response was something like "all good."

So idk???

Eagles RT Lane Johnson says failed PED test stems from approved supplement

Aug

In an update to our previous story, Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson claims that his failed PED test was triggered by an "amino acid" supplement that was approved by the NFL according Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

It is unclear who told Johnson the supplement was approved but Johnson insists he was told the supplement he was taking is permitted under NFL rules. According to Glazer, the aforementioned amino acid tested positive for "peptide." Glazer says Johnson is fighting the 10-game ban by the NFL "as well as the company" that sold him the supplement. The stakes are extremely high for the former first round pick as, if the suspension is upheld, it would void the remaining guaranteed money in the six-year, $66.112 million extension Johnson signed in January.

It is rare for NFL suspensions for banned substances to be overturned but it has happened. Texans tackle Duane Brown, for instance, tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol last November but successfully appealed when he demonstrated that he had receipts showing he had eaten beef in Mexico, where the substance is sometimes given to cattle. Johnson will have to provide evidence that the supplement he used was wrongly labeled or that he received incorrect information from the league office, which may prove difficult. And the rebuilding Eagles will have to figure out how to shore up their offensive line in Johnson's absence-and whether the right tackle they invested so heavily in is capable of playing at a high level without using banned substances.
