Ezekial Elliott

I counted at least 4 times he hurdles defenders. He runs through arm tackles. He gets tough yards. He gets break away plays. Has great hands. Makes excellent cuts. Oh, and he is a lights out blocker too. Gonna be a ton of fun watching him behind this OL.

The more I watch Collins the more I like him for our scheme.

We may have got a steal here. A lot to like about him. One play he runs down the Alabama WR way downfield (I think its Amari Cooper but not 100% sure). Also shows a couple of really good spin moves and tackles with power. There's another play he makes where he picks off a ball and runs it in for a TD but it isn't on this clip.

He's here now so we might as well get behind him. While I am skeptical he develops into a starting QB, I would say there's probably a lot more to work with here with him than the last two QB's we drafted (Carter and McGee). There are some throws he makes where he does show excellent touch and accuracy, and he does appear to throw pretty well on the run. Major project though and the DUI he got is just plain stupid.

Definitely some stuff to like about him. Nice size and speed and he seems to be in position a lot. Also appears to be an excellent tackler.

Don't know anything about him, but he's probably better than Wilcox and Church already

Interesting developmental guy for sure. Excellent size and speed, appears to have good feet, runs with some power and caught the ball pretty well too.

He's something to look forward to, that's for sure. Has that Dorsett-like quality of very seldom does anyone get a square hit on him. Very nifty and with power too. And just has a gifted knack for the blocking.

Plus, look at his football speed. On long runs and under pursuit he is covering 40 yards faster than 4 seconds.... The run at the 9:30 mark is a good example.

So do y'all think we will see any packages where Dak actually gets in the game runs some type of option play with Elliott or Dez?

I think he's faster than his timed 40 indicates... but covering 40 yards in under 4 seconds when you are already at full speed isn't that shocking. They probably spend a full second getting up to speed when running a timed 40.

Dude I'm talking from the time he starts running, 7 yards behind the line, to when he's covered 40 yards. Granted, it does matter exactly when you start the stopwatch. He's got deceptive speed - makes defenders take bad angles all the time.

Isn't he basically what Scandrick was coming out of college? Brown might hit a little harder.

If by that you mean a cornerback, then yes. He is what Scandrick was coming out of college.

Ha. 4.3 speed. Feisty. Same size around 5'11" 192. Not in the top tier of DBs or defensive players in the draft rank. Relatively unknown?
