As the Dallas Cowboys' season hangs in the balance, a pair of mercurial Pro Bowlers — wide receiver Dez Bryant and defensive end Greg Hardy — argued on the sidelines. Who could have seen that happening?

Shortly after Giants specialist Dwayne Harris returned a kick 100 yards to give New York a 27-20 lead on Sunday, FOX cameras found Bryant and Hardy in a heated discussion on the sidelines. According to multiple reports from media members in attendance, it appears Hardy was not happy with the special teams unit.

Greg Hardy and Devin Street went at it on the sideline for Cowboys. Hardy was out of control. Dez Bryant, DL trying to calm him down.

Devin Street and Greg Hardy get in altercation just off Cowboys sidelines. Hardy removed from situation and Dez Bryant and DL try to calm.

According to @KristiCowboy - Dez Bryant, Devin Street and others had to pull an irrate Greg Hardy away from the special teams unit #Cowboys

Just prior to Harris' return, Devin Street had made a remarkable 25-yard touchdown catch from Matt Cassel, pulling the Cowboys even with the Giants at 20-20 despite three turnovers by the Dallas offense. Hardy couldn't have been much happier when a muffed punt with 1:36 left gave the Giants a 27-20 victory.

The altercation won't help Hardy win anybody over after he was suspended for the first four games of the season due to a domestic violence incident. Bryant also has domestic abuse in his own past, as he was arrested in 2012 for allegedly slapping his mother. So, you'd think the organization would not be pleased to see them confronting each other on the sidelines, especially as Dallas fell to 2-4 and last in the division.

But that's apparently not the case, since Cowboys coach Jason Garrett didn't seem all that bothered by it.

Garrett says exchange between Hardy, Dez and team "was not an issue at all - I was standing right there."

Bryant wasn't all that worried, either. He was seen afterward telling Giants fans, "We still gon' run the East."

Greg Hardy Got In A Fight With The Cowboys Special Teams Coach

Yeah this guy is a total RKG. What makes me happy is that ginger still has to go up and defend him with that fake shit-eating grin because he doesn't have the balls to stand up for his fake ideal system. He's a hypocrite in job preservation mode.

Of course Hardy is undermining his coaching staff. We saw the same thing with Deion vs. Barry Switzer. The difference now is that people want to actually believe Garrett is not a puppet because they've brainwashed themselves into false belief that he's a young Belichick.

Btw, I love Hardy. He's terrorizing opposing QBs. The guy is literally psycho and much needed for any football team.

If you watch the video, Garrett was nearby but didn’t come in and try to get involved. I think if i was the head coach and i saw a player shoving one of my coaches, i would have got in his fucking face. Dez Bryant in his tantrums was pissed off at the situation but Hardy was attacking players and coaches. He crossed the line IMO. Then in his press conference didn’t man up and answer any questions, just kept saying “next question”. I think Jerry Jones has undermined the entire coaching staff and it’s fucking ridiculous.

I'd take 10 Greg Hardys over anyone on this entire coaching staff. At least Hardy shows up on game days.

We're faulting him for having the balls to hold people who totally fuck up accountable? Rather than just clapping and teaching them US history?

Yep, some of the fans have bought into Garrett's nonsense and are appalled by a player showing any real passion or heart.

Don't get me wrong, Hardy cannot slap a clipboard out of a coach's hand and not be dealt with. The problem is neither the head coach (no balls) or the owner (no brains) will do anything about it.

Garrett is a non-confrontational politician. Somehow he got this image early on of this tough taskmaster, but he's anything but.

I guess people wanted so much to believe he was the next Jimmy, but again, he couldn't be more different.

A coach like Jimmy or Parcells may not have been able to prevent last night's incident but they damn sure would have prevented stuff like that from happening again while maintaining his psychotic aggression. There's way too much involved with coaching that ginger will never understand. He's a silver spoon fed clown who never had any college or professional success of his own. Why the hell should anyone care about what he thinks.

Why didn't he scream at Casell on the bench? He was a bigger culprit than the special teams.
