Those are spiders that assist internet search engines in their results when someone searches said engine. They troll sights and gather analytics, key words, etc.

I track and identify all web crawlers and display them. All sites get these, most though can't ID and display them. The numbers you see of their visits is clickable, and that takes you to a page showing you everything they looked at.

It's just a SEO thing.
