This weeks game kinda sucks being meaningless and all. I'm not even interested in watching. Just want to fast forward to the playoff game.

Who are yuns rooting for this weekend?

I think I want the Redskins and Giants to win just because I don't want either of them drafting too high.

bummer for Dallas, but your wish will probably come true

hopefully that first playoff game is on a Sunday, not Saturday. Tony needs all the rest he can get.

Wouldn't really be a bummer. The game is meaningless.

I wouldnt even play Murray, Free, Martin, or Romo.

Lets get Vaughn active for a game.

It does not matter whether the game is 'almost meaningless' for the Cowboys.

You will NEVER convince me to hope for the Foreskins to beat the Cowboys.

Yes, I do hope they rest some of the starters though.

Bruce Carter showed up on the injury report (knee)

Listed as probable for Sundays game.

Also Free is doubtful and not expected to play, per twitterers.

IRVING —

Running back DeMarco Murray was sent home early Thursday, without practicing, with an illness. He was a full participant Wednesday, the first full practice he has had since breaking his left hand against the Eagles.

Linebacker Rolando McClain returned to practice after missing for personal reasons Wednesday. McClain’s house in Alabama burned down earlier this week.

Linebacker Dekoda Watson (hamstring) and right tackle Doug Free (ankle) did not practice again and are not expected to play Sunday. Both could return for the playoffs.

Ro McClain is out tomorrow with an illness (sounds like it might be flu).

Redstinks put Jason Hatcher on IR

Cowboys-Redskins: Five things to watch
BY DREW DAVISON
12/27/2014 6:42 PM 12/27/2014 6:42 PM

1 Rest or play?
The Dallas Cowboys still could earn a bye in the postseason, but winning
this game likely won’t matter. So the question all week has been should the
Cowboys simply view the regular-season finale as their “bye” week by
resting starters? Jason Garrett says no and the players agree. Staying
active and trying to keep the momentum going is priority No. 1.

2 Chasing records
DeMarco Murray is the league’s leading rusher and a virtual lock to finish
the season that way. He is also only 29 yards from breaking Emmitt Smith’s
franchise record of 1,773 yards. If Murray plays, it’s a safe bet that he’
ll break it. Dez Bryant needs two touchdown catches to break Terrell Owens’
single-season mark of 15, set in 2007.

3 MVP talk
Tony Romo is gaining steam as the season comes to a close to be in the MVP
conversation. He hasn’t put up gaudy statistics, but his completion
percentage (70.3) and passer rating (114.4) lead the league. This has been
his best season, but is it the best in the NFL, too?

4 Defensive showing
Nobody expected the Cowboys’ defense to be good. Most thought it’d be
quite an accomplishment if it wasn’t historically bad. But the unit has
exceeded expectations, with the latest example coming when Dallas shut down
the top-ranked Indianapolis Colts offense. If the defense continues to play
at a high level, this team could make a serious run.

5 Opponent note
Washington Redskins linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat is set to make his first NFL
start against the Cowboys, a team for whom his father, Jim, played from
1983-94. Jackson Jeffcoat, a University of Texas product, recorded his first
career sack last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jeffcoat is in the
starting lineup because Trent Murphy is out with an injury.

I guess we didn't see Jackson Jeffcoat as a fit here, but I kinda wish we would've ended up with him late in the draft.

And I wasn't aware Dez was so close to Owens team record of 15 touchdowns. Mostly because I forgot Owens owned that record. I hate that guy.

Next year, if I'm coach, I'm throwing to Dez on every inside the redzone play until he breaks Owens record. Terrell shouldn't hold a Cowboys record.

I think it was Broaddus who had been saying all offseason headed up to the draft that the Cowboys scouts and coaches didn't think much of Jeffcoat as a player. I watched their game vs Philly and he seemed to be doing ok.

Seattle had him first and cut him, then Wash signed him to their PS

Seattle cutting him doesn't tell me much. They're loaded on the front seven.

I hope he doesn't turn into a staple on the Redskins defense.

Cowboys inactives:

Vaughn, Free, Hamilton, R. McClain, Hawkins and Brent

so Romo plays with a cracked rib/broken vertebra, Murray plays with a broken hand, but this fat fuck can't get on the field for weeks with a sore calf. FUCK YOU
