The woman who falsely accused Duke University lacrosse players of rape has been taken back to jail, accused of violating a release agreement.
Multiple media outlets reported Thursday that Crystal Gail Mangum was taken into custody after court officials accused her of violating a visitation hours with her children.
Mangum is charged with arson, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and resisting police for a domestic violence call at the home she shared with her then-boyfriend in Durham in February.
In 2006, Mangum told police she was attacked at a Duke lacrosse team party where she was hired to perform as a stripper. The state attorney general's office later concluded there was no credible
