Hardball, raid over moscow and maniac mansion on the commodore.

PAC man and pitfall on the atari.

Madden, lakers vs bulls on the genesis.

Maniac mansion all time favorite though.

Double dribble and contra for nintendo.

Joe montana's football for sega genisis.

Espn football for ps2. Can't beat the post game highlights from around the league. That was before I hated Chris Berman.

MLB the Show for ps3. RTTS is sick.

Pac-Man, Combat, Space Invaders, the early Mario games, but nothing beat Tecmo Super Bowl or Mortal Kombat.

Wasn't the camera angle for that game the broadcast view, It was hard for me 2 play a football game with that view lol

All you had to do was pitch it to Emmitt on a sweep and mash the spin button all tge way down the sideline.

Best glitch ever.

Oh that game was ridiculous. Only game i have ever played that i never lost once (sorry if that sounded like u know who bragging).

I played a buddy that would use Barry Sanders and that damn spin move. I basically would do a short onside kick and would get it most of the time. I would play punt return to stop Barry and all that glitchy spin shit. The game was beautiful tho. Too bad the players ran like they were skating on ice.

Don't even know where to begin.

I still remember my first game - John Elway's football. That game was awful.

I played the shit out of some Tecmo Super Bowl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Contra, Metroid, RBI Baseball with the old school Cardinals and Nolan Ryan, Zelda.

One that sticks out in my head that probably seems obscure was the Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 on the SNES. You could give crazy attributes to the players, where you could like throw a 130 mph fastball, or give a batter crazy speed or have him hit the ball and it rocket through every defender all the way to the wall. Played that game for days.

Altered Beast and Rocky for the original Sega console.

and even older, Atari Real Baseball. Single to left field? Nope, gunned you out at first base.

You had a Sega?

What was it like growing up with parents who didn't love you?

Which was exactly my thought that Christmas morning. Every single kid in our neighborhood had a Nintendo and were rocking Super Mario Brothers and Mike Tyson's Punchout and we are stuck with a Sega?

It was like the families who chose Beta over VHS. Good job Parents...

Bunch of pups around here. My favorite games growing up were the old Infocom text games on my Apple II. I STILL play those every now and then on an emulator (Zork and Hitchhiker's Guide mainly). Good stuff.

This thread brought back some memories, though. I'd forgotten all about Joe Montana Football (it talks!!!! OMG!!!!) and Double Dribble. So awesome.

rbi and tecmo bowl were those first games with players that made you feel like you were really playing a sports game.....awesome times back then.

when the second madden came out for the genesis with all the players it was the most incredible thing i had ever played!!!!! My frieds and I spent I dont know how many hours of our teen years inside playing that damn game!!!

always loved world series baseball for the genesis also.
