If they only offered to settle for back wages, Jerry needs better lawyers . The Rowdy deal makes it a discrimination case (if filed with the EEOC). That is going to be a payout much more than back wages and overtime. If she did not make an EEOC claim, she will probably lose or only get wages and overtime. Cheerleaders usually sign a PSA (personal services agreement). If the PSA does not violate state and federal labor laws, good luck getting Jerry off his wallet.
