steelers looking like theyre gonna lose bell AND brown ??

It couldn’t happen to a nicer team

If that happens I could easily see Ben saying “fuck this, I’m out too” and announcing his retirement

I've heard the 4th rounder they got from Houston for Demaryius Thomas, who was cut by Houston yesterday.

Broncos have notified LB Brandon Marshall that they are most likely not going to exercise his option and he will be a free agent on March 13, per source. One more LB to the free-agent mix.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Bengals are shopping John Ross.

A "fresh start" is wanted by both the Bengals and Ross. The former 9th overall pick failed to make a single reception as a rookie after battling injuries. Ross then followed up that campaign by catching 21-of-58 targets for 210 yards and seven touchdowns. Blessed with tons of speed, Ross is still young enough to figure it out elsewhere, but the Bengals are unlikely to receive a lot compensation via trade.

Panthers released CB Captain Munnerlyn.

Munnerlyn has not been great since returning to Carolina in 2017, but he was at least serviceable last season and scheduled to make just under $3 million in 2019. This move saves the Panthers only $2 million against the cap. That said, Munnerlyn's release is not that surprising given the Panthers' veteran departures already this offseason -- Julius Peppers retired while both Thomas Davis and Mike Adams have been told they will not be re-signed. 31 in April, Munnerlyn should find a new home in the near future.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports teams are calling the Chiefs with interest in trading for OLB Justin Houston.

This aligns with a report from CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. Houston is a known release candidate with Kansas City planning to franchise tag Dee Ford, so these news items may be planted by GM Brett Veach as a last resort before the team cuts ties. Nevertheless, Houston remains a useful pass rusher at age 30 coming off a nine-sack campaign and could perhaps fetch a day-three draft pick.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Eagles are open to trading Nelson Agholor.

The writing has been on the wall for this rumor ever since the season ended. Agholor is entering the final year of his rookie deal and due a substantial pay raise up to $9.387 million after making under $3 million in 2018. Agholor's salary doesn't become guaranteed until March 13, so the Eagles are shopping him around as they look to remake their receiving corps behind Alshon Jeffery. Agholor had a big 2017 driven mostly by touchdowns but regressed in that department last season and has never topped 768 yards in a season. He's a nice player but a replaceable one.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Vikings are shopping CB Trae Waynes.

Waynes was the No. 11 overall pick in the 2015 draft but hasn't lived up to his draft pedigree and is headed into the final year of his rookie deal. The Vikings likely have no real plans of extending Waynes' contract despite him being a starter for them. If a team is willing to cough up a mid-round draft pick and take on Waynes' $9.069 million cap hit, then they may pull the trigger. Waynes' $9.069 million becomes guaranteed at the start of the new league year on March 13, so it's not out of the question he gets cut.

Free agent Golden Tate said he "would love" to sign with the Patriots.

"Man, I would love it," Tate said. "You gotta admire that organization. They do things right. They've been doing it for a long, long, long time. So, I'd definitely love to be a part of something like that and catch a few passes from ol' Tommy Boy. ... I definitely would not mind going over there for sure." The Patriots would seem to be interested in a player like Tate as well; he's someone that can play inside and outside with versatility. Receiver figures to be one of the Patriots' main areas of focus this offseason with Josh Gordon suspended and Phillip Dorsett, Chris Hogan, and Cordarrelle Patterson being free agents. Tate will turn 31 in August.
