I'm good with this.

i dont see how fitzpatrick is in the mix. giong to have to give up a lot to get him.

id have to think realistically they are looking at evans, ridley or payne at 19 and harrison as a choice at 50 --- all of which i could live with.

i have seen comps for evans being lawrence timmons or rolondo mcclain. if so, that might be a good pick if he grows into that type of player. dallas was a good d w/ mcclain

I doubt Fitzpatrick is in range either, but nothing wrong with covering their bases in case he slips a little.

I would think realistically the most they could move up for any player in the 1st rd would be maybe to 9 or 10. There's a few guys that it's worth considering for if the price to move up isn't ridiculous. Fitzpatrick would be one of those guys.

The tweet may as well say “Jason Garrett and his staff have lunch at Wendy’s” for all the good it’s going to do

its true that garrett truly is like the michael scott of the cowboys

but as 1 of my tweets above said, garrett hardly attends workouts, but when he did:
@USC in 2011 (DAL 1st round pick = Tyron Smith)
@Ohio State in 2016 (DAL 1st round pick = Ezekiel Elliott)
@Alabama in 2018 (DAL 1st round pick = fitzpatrick/ridley/evans/harrison???)

my guess is its ridley

They do have a visit with him, and no doubt he is an absolute freak athlete, but can he play?
