Yes!!!!! for earl thomas, thatd be ideal

But no i dont have faith in jones but i do have more faith in the young guys and they are a 2nd, 3rd and a 5th i think

Id just like to see the premium picks goto the dline, or if theres a sean lee jr out there ,,,go look for his replacement now. You think were good w jaylon?
Our d line doesnt do shit without lawrence and irving, especially together. But both have been suspended or injured for some decent stretches. Contingency plan is tapper, taco and collins?? Ehhhhh, you good w that?? It sounds more like an immigrant lawfirm than a dominant dline

Collins is a good player when he is healthy and I think Taco started coming on nicely the last 5-6 games or so, I think he could end up being a pretty solid player.

Adding another DT earlier and another DE in the middle rounds wont hurt my feelings though.

Neither would adding one early. Unless you really need a QB (we might) it is hard to argue best available lineman either side of the ball. Like pitching in baseball, you can never have enough.

This was my first run through for the 2018 draft on first-pick.com

Has no chance of happening, but I have to say if it did fall this way I'd be pretty happy come the end of the draft.

Your score is: 19024 (GRADE: B)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 19: Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame (A-)
Round 2 Pick 18: Taven Bryan, DT, Florida (B+)
Round 3 Pick 17: Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State (A)
Round 4 Pick 16: Holton Hill, CB, Texas (A+)
Round 6 Pick 19: Javon Wims, WR, Georgia (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State (A+)

No fucking way this happens unless 18 other GMs have their brains surgically removed. Two safest picks in the draft are Nelson and Saquon Barkley. Point being two GMs in the 18 picks before us that DONT want to lose their jobs, will scoop them up, probably top 10.

Kiper mock 1/1/18

http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/i...l-kiper-first-round-pick-rankings-draft-order

An asterisk denotes a prospect who is an underclassmen, and I have 24 of them here, which means there are only eight seniors. The position split for the first round here is 15 on offense and 17 on defense.

1. Cleveland Browns - *Josh Allen QB Wyoming
2. New York Giants - *Josh Rosen QB UCLA
3. Indianapolis Colts - Bradley Chubb DE North Carolina St.
4. Cleveland Browns (Houston) - *Saquon Barkley RB Penn St.
5. Denver Broncos - *Sam Darnold QB USC
6. New York Jets - *Minkah Fitzpatrick CB Alabama
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - *Quenton Nelson G Notre Dame
8. Chicago Bears - *Calvin Ridley WR Alabama
9. San Francisco 49ers - *Denzel Ward CB Ohio St.
10. Oakland Raiders - *Roquan Smith ILB Georgia
11. Miami Dolphins - Mike McGlinchey T Notre Dame
12. Cincinnati Bengals - *Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech
13. Washington Redskins - Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma
14. Green Bay Packers - Marcus Davenport DE UT San Antonio
15. Arizona Cardinals - *Josh Jackson CB Iowa
16. Baltimore Ravens - *Brian O'Neill T Pittsburgh
17. Los Angeles Chargers - *Da'Ron Payne DT Alabama
18. Seattle Seahawks - *Derwin James S Florida St.

19. Dallas Cowboys - *Vita Vea DT Washington
The Cowboys took a step backward in 2017, and it was a regression across the board. Receiver could be a target here, along with offensive tackle. But what's tough to find on the free-agent market is a disruptive defensive tackle, which Dallas just didn't have. Vea is a freakish talent at 6-4, 346 pounds who can be a three-down player and add an interior pass-rush presence.

20. Detroit Lions - *Sam Hubbard DE Ohio St.
21. Buffalo Bills - *Mike Hughes CB Central Florida
22. Buffalo Bills (Kansas City) - Maurice Hurst DT Michigan
23. Los Angeles Rams - *Carlton Davis CB Auburn
24. Carolina Panthers - Billy Price C/G Ohio St.
25. Tennessee Titans - Harold Landry OLB Boston College
26. Atlanta Falcons - *Christian Kirk WR Texas A&M
27. New Orleans Saints - *Courtland Sutton WR SMU
28. Pittsburgh Steelers - Rashaan Evans ILB Alabama
29. Jacksonville Jaguars - *Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma
30. Philadelphia Eagles - *Kolton Miller T UCLA
31. Minnesota Vikings - *Connor Williams T Texas
32. New England Patriots - *Rasheem Green DE USC

Count me in on Vea.

Yeah I think he could have a really significant impact on our front 7 as a whole, mentioned this is another post.

He's a pretty unique player that would almost assuredly command a double team every play he is out there.

If Mayfield is there at 19, do WE take him? Jerry still Jonesing over missing out on Johnny Football, could he insist we take Mayfield this time if he is there?

I think that's a new thread right?

I wouldn't gripe, if he was there at 19 and we took him.

I wouldnt gripe about any QB they thought was better than Dak at 19. You can pay Dak slave wages for two years while QB at 19 isnt thrown to the wolves immediately.
