Except there was no such story. Just a hopeful, misleading headline from a Dez fanboi who went on to admit no interest was indicated.

Like every other team, they're talking about players.

Dez tweeted that he was meeting with the Browns for a workout

So there’s that....

That's beside the point about the "article" that misled, and at the same time admitted it.

Any team needing a wideout would be neglecting due diligence if it didn't at least talk to him.

He reportedly wants a one year deal, that can be attractive to a lot of GMs.

Yes there is a story regarding the Browns being interested in Dez. The multiple articles reporting on the Browns meeting with Dez attests to that fact

There was NO story about them signing him. Now you've moved the goalpost again to "interest."

The story you posted last week was false and had a very misleading headline. The Dez fanboi who wrote it even admitted there was no interest. We covered this ground already. That they're meeting with him now doesn't make that story any more accurate than it was at the time. At the time they said flat out they were talking about a lot of available players.

Clearly now they have decided to give him a look and see if he can run and what shape he is in and what his demeanor is like. But I would be pretty surprised if a hardened no nonsense football man like John Dorsey would sign him.

He's done a good job of skipping training camp and I'm sure that was one of his short term goals, even if it meant turning down Baltimore.

Golic said this morning that Cleveland would have to decide if they want a guy like Dez in the locker room with a bunch of young guys that they are building toward the future with and they wont be contending anyway so is Dez a guy u want.

Uh . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NOPE!

Honestly with as big a shithole team as Cleveland is they should be considering everything, even Dez.

Bolded part almost word for word what Dorsey said last weekend.

There are reports that the hard knocks crew was following Dez around even after the meeting

So maybe he did sign and it just hasn’t been announced (or made final) yet

I hope he signs with the Browns

I look forward to watching his weekly hissy fits and mental breakdowns on the sidelines all season long as they continue to lose each week (because we all know how “passionate” Dez is about winning)

It will be like watching a flaming car crash in slow motion for 16 weeks

The legend lives on from the Walmart on down
Of the big 88 they call Dez
Dez it is said never drops a ball
When the skies of November turn gloomy
With a load of BS from his coach Red
Dez shows his passion on the sideline
