In the contributor category how can you really even HAVE that, if Brandt's not in it?

I long for the days when the Cowboy FO was miles ahead of every one. Remember how back in the golden era they would mention the Cowboy FO was the first to use computers in making draft and personnel decisions on every TV broadcast. The 1964 draft is probably second greatest of all time after the 1974 Stealer draft. Now the only category the FO leads in is figuring out ways to separate fans from their money. Of course Gil should be in, he is a legitimate pioneer in this league.

Let's not forget the "Dirty Dozen" draft of 1975. THAT is the greatest of all time.
For all of the accolades that the Dallas Cowboys scouting department had received throughout the years, the team had never kept more than nine draft choices and the average number was keeping six. The 1975 draft is considered to be one of the best in league history because 12 picks made the roster, hence the nickname "The Dirty Dozen". This rookie class, didn't even include linebacker Mike Hegman, who was drafted that year but did not enter the NFL until 1976. Neither was included rookie undrafted free agent quarterback Jim Zorn who made the team, but was later cut to make room for running back Preston Pearson, who had been waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sorry Dooms 64 draft netted Renfro, Hayes and Staubach, three HOFers. Steelers 74 got them Swann, Lambert, Stallworth and Webster, four HOFers. Dirty dozen does not top either of those.

If hall of famers is the meter. If making the team and contributing is the meter, the Dallas '75 draft tops them all easily. We're talking Hall of Famer Randy fucking White, Bob Breunig, Pat Donovan, Mike Hegman, Herb Scott, Scott Laidlaw...

He should be in the HOF, but his drafts from 1978-1988 (with a couple exceptions, including the 88 draft) were epic level awful. In fact some of those drafts were so bad it would make Johnny Walker GM look like a real football man.

You mean Hall of Famer Johnny Walker GM?

With fucking Jerry Jones in the HoF as a contributor and Brandt not, that tells you all you need to know about that category.

The whole thing is a fraud, that's why I care nothing about going there and seeing it or supporting it.

if Brandt had been part of the Stealers or Packers organization he'd have been voted in eons ago. Same thing with several extremely deserving Cowboy players who arnt there even though lesser players from other teams are.
