@AllbrightNFL
Internally, some people at the league office are very worried about the impending fallout from the Ezekiel Elliott situation.

On #Cowboys Elliott: Why would #NFL investigator commit something problematic to a memo? To create a record perhaps? In case you're ignored?

If these allegations in the Elliott lawsuit are true, some high-level people currently working at 345 Park Avenue eventually won't be.

Boy this info that has come re Zeke is NOT a good look for the NFL. This is why the players don't trust the league

Roger Goodell doesn't have his contract extension just yet, and I wonder if Jerry Jones may have had that info leaked publicly last week.

I haven't listened to the entire morning but every segment I've listened to on NFL Radio, there was not a single mention of the developments last night in the Zeke situation. I have probably listened to 4 or 5 segments so perhaps it was mentioned some other time, but it seems it's getting no attention whatsoever. They even spent one segment talking about plays from the 4th quarter of a couple of last nights utterly meaningless preseason games.

Bob Papa (who is also the Giants broadcaster) sounds particularly depressed this morning though. Like other Giants trolls in the media up there, he was all giddy at the suspension news when it was announced.

Since the NFL knew they were gonna get burned by this, they now have their lackies out there today saying Goodeell did know about this info.

Zeke's suit accuses NFL's Lisa Friel of hiding her colleague Kia Robert's judgment that the findings didn't support a suspension.

That Friel kunt was asked who gave the order to bar Kia Roberts from the discipline hearings and she responded "she didn't know"

Shefter now reporting that he is hearing that it's 50/50 or better than Zeke plays next week.

It was testified during the appeal hearing that Friel barred Roberts from the meeting, per a source.

This is a total frame job by the NFL. They have the lead investigator disprove the findings, then block her from telling her story to the arbitrator of the suspension who is a buddy of Goodell, a suspension which was recommended by a biased panel. They clearly had an outcome already planned ahead of time for Zeke and had to blatantly ignore anything that suggested otherwise. This is disgusting.

#NFL investigator who interviewed accuser of #Cowboys Zeke Elliott wrote internal memo red-flagging inconsistencies

A memo which was ignored by people in the league office. That in and of itself shows there was a conspiracy against Zeke

"there was a League-orchestrated conspiracy by senior NFL executives .... to hide critical information -- which would completely exonerate Elliott."

The NFL is going to get humiliated in court if they don't overturn the suspension.

So if what the NFL is saying is true then Goodell himself ignored Roberts' findings and suspended Zeke anyway. That might actually be worse than the news that Lisa Friel ordered that the findings be ignored because at least then Goodell has plausible deniability to save his weasel self. With this it confirms that the conspiracy to frame Zeke went all the way to the top. Goodell should resign. Seriously.

Which is strange because a few weeks ago they were saying he had nothing to do with the investigation or ruling.
