Game is in Dallas though, right? (I thought it was in NYC at first, makes me wonder if some reports had it wrong at first.)

It's in Dallas which is a plus for a rookie QB to break into the league. Of course, there's no home field advantage but at least Dak doesn't have to worry about a rowdy crowd.

I doubt any SEC QB has much issue with crowds. His main problem is gonna be shitty coaching.

I absolutely won't argue with that UVA. Not one bit. That's something I'm real interested in seeing tomorrow....the game plan. Are they gonna go in a shell and play conservative like they did last season with Romo out? Or are they going be aggressive and not leave the game in the hands of our putrid defense?

It might be legit tomorrow. In 2012 the opener was LOUD as hell. I know my boy and I will be loud, after eating and drinking for free at the new restaurant there.

Even if the crowd is loud, isn't the design of the stadium such that the noise isn't captured on the field like it is say, at the Seahawks stadium?

I think I remember reading something when the stadium was being built how its a poor design acoustically... and off the top of my head I have zero recollection of any opposing QB's having to call time outs because of noise. I could be wrong though.

In my experience, unless the crowd is 90k+, you can hear a pin drop in there.

The problem is two-fold. 1) acoustics 2) shitty home crowd, which was also a problem at Texas Stadium. Our dumbass home fans think it's polite or something to be quiet.
