Scot are you proposing the team throws Kellen Moore out there to play just to prove he sucks?

Yet he's on OUR team right NOW and ONE play away from being our starting QB

How do you know he couldn't beat Orlovsky? You don't

Every assumption (good or bad) about Moore is just that since he's never taken a single snap in the NFL

All I'm saying is play him and see if he is worth wasting a roster spot on

What's the worst that could happen? He looses another game for us? So what, we can't win without Romo (or with him apparently)

We need to see if this kid is worth investing time, money, energy, and a roster spot on

Do you really want to wait until our season or playoff hopes are on the line down the road to find out if he can play and win games for us?

Or would you rather find out now when we have nothing to loose. I personally want to find out this season if he's another Ryan Leaf or Brandon Weeden or if he is someone worth using a roster spot on and trying to develop

For each of you that say he's a crappy back up or QB in general you have no idea what you are talking about. None of us do as he has never taken a single snap in regular season game in the NFL

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying he's the answer. I'm just saying lets see what we have with him. If he's not worth keeping around then let's find out sooner rather than later. The FO thought Weeden was the right back up to Romo. Look what happened when he finally got the starting job!

I don't want to find out next season that he can't play in the NFL when Romo goes down again with a broken whatever

I'm with you, not because I think he is going to be a great QB, I just want them to see what they have in him. I want them to sit anyone who is playing hurt and give reps to as many players as possible who are on the back end of the roster and may or may not be part of the team going forward (Escobar, Lucky, Gregory, Street, Swaim, Irving, Rod Smith, Chaz Green, Trey Williams).

Play to win but play with guys who normally don't get reps to see if they can improve and be relied upon next year.

This seems so obvious to me yet I know they won't do it, I don't see any downside to this.

Yeah, not getting all the hoopla over Kellen Moore.

Dude is not a legit NFL QB and doesnt have the arm talent or size to succeed. At best he is the clip board carrying 3rd QB, and I'm not even 100% sure he is that.

I don't have to slam a car door on my thumb to know that it hurts.

Exactly. A young, talented player who doesn't yet get it mentally, maybe you put him out there and don't worry about his growing pains in a lost season. But a guy as limited physically as Moore? You can tell from practice he can't really play at this level.

When you're 3-8, everybody's job should be on the line. I agree.

I think Irving has already earned his spot on the team. He's getting a fair amount of reps and making an impact when he's in the game. Not a huge impact, but just as much as the others around him

As for the rest of the guys I agree, throw them all against the wall and see what sticks

No use having someone (else) on the team who can't play

Better to find out now with nothing on the line then sometime in the future when it matters

I just don't want to get Brandon Weedened again by another player at any position. Especially QB

In Wade's first three years he had a winning season. Got the Cowboys first playoff win in this century. The following seasons --- his fourth and final, he goes 1-7, and is effectively canned.

Garrett has gone 8-8 in three consecutive seasons. Has one winning seasons and wins a playoff game but mainly due to being stripped of the playcalling. He is now 3-8, and likely to finish 3-13.

How can it be justified firing Wade and keeping Garrett? Mind you... Romo also was injured during Wade's last season, but he was not spared.

Jerry as to be taking a real close look at what Zimmer is doing with the Vikings in just his second year, and has to be wondering what the fuck is wrong with Garrett --- who has been given nearly everything, but lacking in results.

Mike Zimmer will never win a public speaking award. He doesn't try to use any psychological bullshit. If the team plays like shit, he comes out and says it and holds them accountable, without throwing them under the bus.

Only things that fucking old fool looks at are porn videos, the bottom of his booze bottles, young women who come in to get jobs, and young women who come in to get jobs.

Browns were Jason Garret/Cowboy-esque finding a way to lose in dramatic fashion last night.

I'm sure Red headed idiot was taking notes.

That's why I love the year Zimmer is having. He even got a DPOW out of Newman a couple weeks ago. Skol Vikings!

I love how Zimmer wanted to fight Fisher also. That one press conference was more interesting than all of our ginger's press conferences combined. Players respond to that more than the manufactured drivel the Garrett perfected by reading books and following around great coaches.

Was it Fischer or that coach that left Atlanta high and dry to go back to the college game (Bobby Petrino???)?
