Press beating up Trump over no comment?

So Trump says nothing (literally) in response to the Obama/Muslim thing, and press goes crazy with it?

Why is it important for Trump to comment on this at all in their eyes?

Maybe Trump doesn't know because of stuff like this:

I doubt Trump even heard the guy, and was just giving his standard "we'll look at everything" answer. Of course the press never wonders why, up until 9/11, Obama typically identified himself as Muslim. Whether it be in Jakarta middle school, or applications for student aid at Columbia, and so on. His mother and father were Muslim - he's either Muslim then, or a apostate.

We'll never learn the truth of any of it.

Convert, pay the tax, or death. Those are his options. He chose political expediency and presto he was a Christian that attended a racist church for 20 years. Black liberation theology has nothing to do with Christianity, but it allowed him an in. A box checked off. He then threw the racist clown leading his church under a bus.
