After yesterday, Romo has now risen to 4th in QB rating at 104.7, he also is the NFL leader in comp % now at 69.2% and his yds per attempt has exploded the past couple weeks, and he is now 4th in that at 8.36 yds per attempt. Romo is tied for 5th with 14 TD passes.

Murray leads Leveon Bell and Arian Foster by nearly 400 yds in rushing. Granted both of them play tonight but Murray is still going to be WAY ahead. Murray has 913 yds in 7 games, a per game avg of 130.4. if he keeps that up he'll have just under 2100 yds for the season. Murray also leads (by nearly double) in first downs rushing (48). To put that into perspective, last year for the entire season Dallas as a TEAM had 80. Murray also ranks first in the league in 20+ yd runs and is first in rushing TDs as well (7)

Dez Bryant ranks high in receptions (6th) and total yardage (8th). His 4 Tds are tied for 15th.

Terrance Williams ranks 7th in yds per catch (17.8) and his 6 TDs rank 4th.

As a team Dallas ranks 3rd in total offense (402.1), 1st in rushing offense (159.7) and 5th in scoring offense (28.0). We rank 1st in the league at an incredible 57.4% 3rd down conversion rate and we're 2nd in the league in total first downs (162)

Defensively we rank 15th at 343.9 yds per game given up. We're tied for 10th in pts allowed per game (21.0) and 17th in 3rd down con% allowed at 41.7%.

The bad stats are only 6 sacks through 7 games (30th) and only a +1 turnover ratio due to being 7th in most giveaways (11)

This helps the defense more than most any other stat. They are on pace so far, taking 12 snaps a game less than last season.

Yes, stopping a team on 3rd down helps a defense.
No Man, the stat I quoted is our OFFENSE 3rd down conversion rate. Because of how high it is, the defense on average is playing 12 fewer snaps a game than last year.

Downside to this is, our punter isn't among the league leaders in total punts like he has been for the last several years.

Ohhhhhh, my apologies. I just see a Doomsday post and automatically assume the worse.

Yes, Romo's third down magic and Murray's effectiveness are this defense's best friends.
