Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland and Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant shook hands and had a brief conversation before the game.
This was the first face-to-face meeting between the two. Ireland had already apologized to Bryant for his remarks during a pre-draft interview in which he asked if the receiver's mother was a prostitute.
As Ireland was on the sideline talking to Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones,
Bryant came over to the sideline after seeing Ireland, who was speaking with Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones. They spoke for less than a minute.
