cythim probably only drinks natty light. I doubt that is on the beer fest menu which is why he asks.

I went to this thing last year and only the American beers tasted like piss. Bourbon Barrel Vintage IRS tasted like... wait for it... bourbon but without the aftertaste, and it is 11% ABV.

Are these mainly small batch beers?

I've had Ranger IPA and Shift. They were OK.

However, I have had good beers from Deschutes, Rogue, New Belgium, Full Sail, Stone and Lagunitas though none on the list other than the two from New Belgium.

I'd probably hit the Rogue, Stone and the Belgian and German beers.
