Erroneous previous report about Eagles signing Xavier McKinney, he has officially signed with the Packers.

Two splash moves by Packers today, who rolled us and gave the Niners a tough game in January.

Pipe dream, I know. But I'd sign up for this:

1) LT Tyron Smith
2) DT DJ Reeder (torn quad muscle late in season, might make him more affordable)
3) LB Aazeez Al Shaair (or Zimmer guy Eric Kendricks), or better yet both
4) CB Stephon Gilmore or Chidobe Awuzie (yep, our former guy)
5) RB Aaron Jones or Derrick Henry (plus a draft pick)

Would have been nice to have that 82 million today that they gave to Terrance Steele last yr when they didnt have to.

Pretty sure quite a few of these guys signing today are far better players than Steele, who was one of the lowest rated starting T's in football last yr and had two or three of the worst games we've seen any Cowboys OL have.

What’s currently on the Cowboys roster?

A QB who finished 2nd in MVP voting. (please save the comments from the peanut gallery)
An All-Pro No. 1 WR. (A Super Bowl pedigree)
An ascending Pro Bowl TE
A Future Hall of Fame RG
A Pro Bowl LG w/an All-Pro ceiling
A Hall of Fame trajectory DE
A literal Tank at DE
The Top 2 INT leaders since ‘21 at CB
A diverse Swiss knife group at S
Arguably the best ST unit in the NFL

Not to mention Dallas drafts as well, if not better, than every team in the league. Sure, there are a few holes they need to fill at RB, LB, and D-Line, BUT when you flip from page 2023 to page 2024, I bet any GM in America would love to have this book to work with.
Pollard said he'd take a pay cut to stay in Dallas. But, after the dismal 2023 season, the Jones's may have made a quiet deal thats hush hush. Trading Pollard for Henry.

Did I mention Henry purchased a home in Dallas. You heard it hear first. Henry will BE a Cowboy!

Can't say as I'm crushed to see Pollard leave. Good player, but he can't take over a game, and no team's ever going to game plan for him. Last season may have been one of the most underwhelming 1000 yard seasons by a running back in my memory.
