Cowboys Scouts Busy This Year

I spoke to Rich Behm recently who I have known for over 25 years and was able to compile a list along with the one I have been putting together over the course of this last season of game that the Cowboys scouting dept attended. It's hard to say exactly who they were there to scout or what they came away with it's fun to speculate and often can give a little insight into who they may be looking at.

I can name some prospects we may have scouted from looking at that list.

Janoris Jenkins, Will Hill, Anthony Castonzo, Von Miller, Marcell Dareus, Mark Ingram, Cameron Heyward, Gabe Carimi, Mike Pouncey, Nate Solder, Drake Nevis.

I could list more from just looking at those games, but you can pretty much tell the ones they were scouting seeing we are a top ten pick.

That's a name to keep an eye on. The Cowboys really like him. Not so much that they would reach at 9 but if we end up trading down to the 20's or he slides into round 2 you might see Dallas make some moves to land this kid.

Yeah, I thought he may slide a bit, because of off the field issues, like maybe he'd make it to our 2nd round pick at 41.

Right now mid to late 20's because of an off the field issue I guess.

Heyward has the talent to be drafted in the first round.

I watched this game. I can see Jesse Hoffman (CB) as an UFDA and converted to SS. Could be a Bill Bates player.
