I'd take it.

As an aside . . . Carolina taking a QB kind of jumps out at me. I haven't seen a single Panther game this year. Has Clausen looked that bad?

Odds are, they'd have a new coaching staff who would have no allegiance to Clausen. Still . . . the kid went from being considered a potential top 10 draft pick this time last year, to sliding to the 2nd, and now, speculation (I've heard on sports talk suggestions that Carolina would go QB, be it Luck, Locker, or Mallet) of being replaced altogether.

I think I would take Paea or Miller first if the picks fell that way.

Then in the second I would go for Rahim Moore, DeMarcus Love, Nate Solder or Derek Sherrod in the second.

The thing about that is Clausen came from a pro style offense too, and Carolina seems as if he's not their future.

The same can be said for a pro style offense in Mallett and Luck, but If Luck were there I would take him, and have him as my franchise QB.

Then Carolina would have to either trade Clausen or have them fight it out in training camp. Luck would win hands down.

From what I've read and seen, Clausen has been horrible. I would hate to have him at QB for my team. They have to take a QB this year... get that franchise back on track.

OL may not be a sexy pick... but I would love it if we got Castonzo. IMO, we gotta start building our line back up.

Besides doesn't it always seem as if BC lineman always turn out as solid pros?

I don't see the Cardinals passing on a QB. With Derek Anderson and his play and then meltdown. And seeing how the Rams are doing with Bradford. If Mallett is there, I can see him going to them.
