Yes. Really.

You have the edge on OL, but Manning offsets that in the passing game. Hell... the fact that the best you have to offer against Manning is Carson Palmer is telling. Manning alone makes us a strong favorite in that game.

Not to mention my DL destroys yours. Sedrick Ellis? Kenechi Udeze?

We're not just trying to take players who made it to the league. We're looking for players who had an impact in the league.

Also, your secondary has like, 3 safeties. If you're going to tell me Tim McDonald or ROnnie Lott are one of your corners, fine... I'll put Eric Berry at corner (he played some in college, quite well, actually) and I'll put Deon Grant at safety.

Ronnie Lott and Joey Browner were actually corners in college.

Your d line is awesome but I feel pretty good about our o line.

My d line is not strong but your o line is weak sauce and my lb's will kill.

In college, Carson Palmer was pretty damn good. In fact, he won 1 more Heisman than Peyton Manning ever did.

I thought the title made it pretty clear, but I guess not...

I'm talking about what school sent the players who went on to have the most NFL success.

Then your Offensive line really becomes a huge liability. Jerry Jones architected level bad offensive llne level.

Great thread idea...

Tennessee is probably hard to beat with Manning and Reggie White. But I bet a team like Michigan with Brady or Alabama with Namath plus a bunch of great linemen could make a case. Maybe even Notre Dame with Montana plus a lot of really old-timers.

I think a lot depends how much weight you put on the QB.

Disagree. RT is a huge liability. But again, Peyton Manning gets the ball out in like 2 seconds.

Can't have a steak on every plate.

Don't be mad just because my team destroys yours.

Before cancer, Udeze was on his way to being a monster. Would have gone with someone else had I noticed the success in the NFL part.

Again, you o line is awful, Manning would be dead.

What about Miami...

Jim Kelly
Gore?
Shockey
Soldja (12 formation!!1!)
Michael Irvin
Andre Johnson

Jerome Brown
Sapp
Wilfork
Ray Lewis
Ed Reed
Sean Taylor

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch. They weren't that great along the O-line, though. Interesting...

Miami would be tough to beat. The 2002 Miami roster by itself was a huge collection of NFL talent.
