Rutgers and Maryland do not seem like big gets.

Sorry MB4. It's a great move for Rutgers just not sure why Big10 made these moves.

They snatched up solid schools before the other relevant conferences did. Expansion isn't over with

Ranked, solid fanbase, never cheated, great acedemics, never cheated. Like I said, solid.

Talk radio was saying that the reason the big ten took them is that they were in large enough media market that they met conditions in their current tv contract that automatically boosted revenues enough that they would not lower the layout to each college despite the fact they have 2 more mouths to feed. And their academics are good.

Yeah, they just want the TV sets so they can get a bigger contract. Has nothing to do with football, really. The Big 10 is bad enough without adding two more lousy programs, but this is about money.

Guess you guys didn't read the article, The big 10 network won't be added in enough households to make up for the fact that they have to split the pie with rutgers and Maryland.

Obviously they're impressed by everything else
